An old firetruck converted into a solar mobile cinema. Davide & Francesca found her in Southern Germany in 2014 and immediately fall in love with her unique silhouette ;- Since then more than 100.000km across 3 continents (Asia, Europe and Africa) giving over 500 screenings from busy African capitals, passing by the Mongolian steppe to the most remote areas of Sahara desert or Ivorian Jungles. An old 4x4 army truck converted in a mobile cinema truck. The crew: Davide, Francesca, Zaira Sahara, Leila Jargal, and their pets O.P. & Mei Davide and Francesca are volunteers of NGO "Bambini Nel Deserto" www.bnd.ngo since 2009. They started the project and founded the "Cinema du Désert". Davide Bortot is constantly investigating about renewable energies, is a truck driver and very passionate for D.I.Y. heavy vehicle camper conversion. Takes care of production of tours and projects with partners. Francesca Truzzi is a trained social worker. Actually is project manager of Cinema Solare Itinerante... she's the backbone of every expedition. They are very happy of still being able to bring the magic of film and fun to those who least expect it. Always for free! |

Tronko's house since 2009 called by friends "the museum". The crew: Tronko, Anna and their dogs Mia & Towanda. Filippo Bernasconi a.k.a. Tronko is vinyl Dj, fixer and sound engineer . Always on the move between travels and sports. He joined different expeditions since 2013 and from 2016 getting more and more involved in the project. Anna Seghi graduated in Human Right and formed in Food Security. Enchanted and inspired by the project's spirit of mutual exchange, join the crew in 2020. Taking care of different tasks including eco-practice. They strongly believe that sharing cultural moments is the best way to connect with people while travelling, creating bridges and spreading messages: a common screen for a shared dream! |
