 TEDxBari 2016 si avvicina a grandi passi. Iniziamo a scoprire gli #speaker di questa prima edizione con licenza ufficiale. Davide Bortot e Francesca Truzzi sono i fondatori di Cinéma du Désert CdD: dal 2009 girano il mondo portando l'incanto del grande schermo negli angoli più remoti del pianeta con un'attrezzatura interamente alimentata a pannelli solari. L'iniziativa, promossa dall'ONG italiana Bambini nel Deserto, si ispira all'equazione "#Education =#Dignity" e getta le basi di un futuro migliore per centinaia di ragazzi che vivono in luoghi difficili. Cinéma du Désert crea ponti tra popoli attraverso la forza delle immagini e il libero accesso alla conoscenza. Sabato 26 novembre sul palco del Teatro Petruzzelli Bortot e Truzzi racconteranno come ridare vita ad angoli di #Deserto, la parola chiave di#TEDxBari 2016.

(Considerations on the Anthropocene) Author : João Meirinhos Location : Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Siberia and Mongolia Filmed during Cinema du Desert's journey to Mongolia by land in 2015. This country is a drastic example of the upcoming perils of desertification and ever lowering temperatures during Winter that are forcing the local population to give up their traditional nomadic lifestyle and move to a problematic and polluted capital city. Using the technique of timelapse we attempted to convey a message of global urgency and simultaneously a call out for social participation and perseverance towards the shared responsibility of our environment.
